SYNOPSIS

Manchester, England - Present Day. Boxer Kenny “The Beast” Breen (to be played by retired UFC champion and Hall of Famer Michael Bisping), age 35, is a former Central Area Title champion, who has fallen on hard times due to a self-destructive streak stemming from a tough childhood.

In order to make ends meet, Kenny now works as a journeyman on the small-hall boxing circuit where he is paid under the table to throw fights against young up-and-coming prospects looking to pad their records with wins. Kenny doesn’t mind losing for a living because the money is good and, most importantly, it enables him to keep boxing.

The ring is the one place where Kenny truly feels alive and the pain he suffers inside of it is better than the pain he feels in real life. Still, somewhere deep down inside this very damaged man, the sporting fire still burns.

When doctors discover that Kenny has a “shadow on the brain” (an early sign of neurological damage), they advise him to stop boxing immediately because, if he continues to take blows to the head, he’ll be putting himself at grave risk for further permanent injury, if not death. But how does one quit the one thing that's ever given them any sense of self-worth?

Defying his doctors’ order, Kenny continues boxing at grave risk to himself - a decision that will lead to one last shot at redemption.
